Beginning with Summer 2021 graduates, diplomas will be mailed to the mailing address on file for graduates without holds on their accounts. Pending graduates must verify the mailing address on file is correct, resolve holds on their account (if any), and review their diploma name via an email sent by the graduation staff by the date listed below for their graduating term. Graduates with holds on their accounts will need to contact the office which placed the hold for details. Hold information can be found in your student portal. Once the hold is resolved, the student will need to contact the Graduation Staff to request that their diploma be mailed. Below is an approximate release date for diplomas.
- How to Review Diploma Name: An email with your name as it will appear on your diploma will be sent from graduation@volstate.edu toward the end of the graduating term. Pending graduates will be instructed to reply to that email if requesting a change to the diploma name.
- How to Check for Holds: Log into your account, click the Advising and Registration folder, click Student Records, enter log-in information again if prompted, then click View Holds.
- How to Verify Mailing Address: Login to your My Vol 小猪视频官网 account, click the Advising and Registration folder, click Student Records, enter log-in information again if prompted, click the Personal Information tab, then click View and Update Addresses and Phones. The College will use the Mailing address listed on this screen at the time of diploma distribution. eDiploma and Duplicate Diploma Requests
Diplomas are available for graduates after their graduating term once all credentials are awarded and posted on transcripts (see Diploma Distribution Dates above). Graduates that have lost their diploma may request a duplicate using our听Duplicate/eDiploma Request form. Students that graduated prior to 2020 may also use this request to have an electronic diploma, eDiploma, emailed to them. Beginning Spring 2020, graduates will automatically be emailed an eDiploma once diplomas are available for their graduating term.
Graduation Verification
Once grades are posted at the end of every term the graduation staff will verify graduation requirements for each applicant and individually award degrees/certificates. Graduates will be notified via email once their credential is awarded. The email will include instructions on how to request an official transcript and details regarding diplomas. If you need verification of graduation for an employer or transfer institution once grades are posted at the end of the graduating term and prior to receiving the email notification, contact听graduation@volstate.edu.
