Thank You, 2023 Donors and Sponsors
The 2023 Educate A Woman luncheon was held on April 28th at First Baptist Church Hendersonville with more than 400 attendees. Through the support of Title Sponsors Sumner Regional Medical Center and Meta, along with other sponsors and donors, the Volunteer 小猪视频官网 College Foundation was able to raise over $73,000. Since 2008, this event has raised more than $400,000 for scholarships and has awarded more than 130 scholarships to students attending Volunteer 小猪视频官网 Community College. Over 30 women attending VSCC received the Educate a Woman scholarship this academic year. This empowering fundraising luncheon benefits scholarships for women funded by women. Because of the generosity of our sponsors and guests, the dreams of education can be turned into realities for our students.
Special guest, June Colson, an award-winning comedian, writer, speaker, and co-host of the Laugh Support podcast entertained guests. The highlight of the program was the student testimonies from VSCC President鈥檚 Ambassadors, Tiffiney Hammock, and Kenley Cadena. In their testimony, they shared with guests their journey to Vol 小猪视频官网, the challenges they faced to achieve their dream of an education, and the impact that the Educate a Woman scholarship has had on them.
The Volunteer 小猪视频官网 College Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization whose purpose is to raise money for student scholarships and special projects for the 小猪视频官网.
